Problem: Has anyone considered a way to "automaticly" populate "personal" contacts" in Outlook from a change made in "Public Contacts" ? Or to have that change show up in Personal Contacts
Has anyone considered a way to "automaticly" populate "personal" contacts" in Outlook from a change made in "Public Contacts" ? Or to have that change show up in Personal Contacts
The BES server populates our blackberry smart phones "contacts" automatically when a change occurs in "Personal Contacts" in the users Outlook.
Is there perhaps a way to automatically have a change made in "public folders" to populate itself in "personal contacts" so the BES server sends the update to the phone? We are trying to eliminate the manual process of copying changes made in Public folders to personal contacts so they get reflected in the phones.
Solution: Has anyone considered a way to "automaticly" populate "personal" contacts" in Outlook from a change made in "Public Contacts" ? Or to have that change show up in Personal Contacts
At this stage this is your only option except for manually synchronizing via cable using BlackBerry desktop Manager (this disables wireless sync but it will directly access the public folders). When BES 5 is released and carriers release devices\updates with firmware 5.0.x.x. you will be able to view public and private contacts and calendar via the device.
