I was wondering if you have any sugesstion / recommendation on how do we proceed on this and any good practice of standard procedures ?
do I shutdown and turn off all devices., also?!
This is my first time encounter
please rely
appreciated & thank. In advance.

Solution: Power service / Server equipments
1) perform logical shutdown on all equipments (example: windows systems, Start, Shutdown, et al)
2) then turn off all routers and switches, bridges, printers, scanners and other secondary devices
3) switch off the power strips, if you have any.
once the entire infrastructure is in a powered down state, you can shutdown the UPS(s)
thats it.
once the power comes back on, wait atleast 30 minutes for the power to stabilize
i had an outage a few months ago), and powered down my systems on UPS backup.
once the power came back i immediately powered on, and the power went away within a few seconds, crashing one server (the UPS was depleted)
when is your outage scheduled? (in hours)
