HP DC7700 recovery disc missing

Dear,

The harddisk of my HP DC7700 was seriously corrupted and unable to load the recovery function. What I only got in hand the Operation System Disk for WinXP and the serial no. sticker on the case.

I have attempted to reload the machine by using the OS Disk but it keep on asking for "insert the recovery plus for verification...".

Can any help or upload the recovery disk?

Solution: HP DC7700 recovery disc missing

The DC7700 was shipped with a recovery parttion NOT a "Restore Plus!" CD disk set. - are you sure the OS disk you have is for this machine?

Sounds like you've reimaged the drive so the recovery partition is probably long gone but was accessible by hitting F11 while booting.

You could order a replacment disk set from HP but you'll need to call
