Simpana 7 - Commvault DR tapes exported too early

The retention setting for Commvault DR tapes is set to "forever" (or whatever Commvault calls it when the tape can never be returned for re-use)
Originally DR backups (which are really small) would be written to the same tape until it became full.
Now this tape is written to once, exported and a new tape is used for every backup!

I recall the setting for exporting tapes was changed globally, but do not recall what it was.

Can someone tell me where the setting would be to export the media immediately after backup?

Sorry that the resolution hasn't been quick. The slight differences between V7 and V8 have made it interesting - and the fact that I don't have VT.

Here's a couple of things to try.
Select the DR Storage Policy, then right click on the Primary Copy, and browse to View, and select Media
(Presumably, given what you've said, there should be a large number of tapes here)
Within the Media List, right click on one of the tapes, and select Properties
Browse to the SideX_XXX Tab, and check what the status for the tape is.

Also, it may be worth making note of one of the barcodes within the Media List, then browsing to VaultTracker Policies, right clicking on each VaultTracker Policy, and selecting View Media and check whether the previously noted barcode appears in any of the lists.
