Getting data off a dead laptop
Getting data off a dead laptop
I have a Toshiba M35X-S239 Satelitte laptop that has a motherboard problem.
It is not worth troubleshooting any further.
The client just wants their pictures of a vacation off of the hard drive.
I removed the hard drive, but was not able to install it in any of the spare ones lying around.
The hard drive is:
HITACHI
Model: IC25N080ATMR04-0
4200 RPM
ATA/IDE
P/N; 0A24704
16383 CYL. 16 HEADS 63SEC/T
0A24704H695550P4A
S/N: K4HYVT4H
My question is, does someone sell an adapter that I can connect to the free standing hard drive and connect it to a PC via USB.
Hopefully I would be able to access the new hard drive as if it was an external hard drive.
thank you in advance for all responses.
