  • Laptop temperature

    What is the ideal CPU temperature for a Inspiron 5100 P4 laptop. Mine was running about 60C but after cleaning it and adding new thermal greese it only came down to 54C. I was considering adding a laptop cooling stand with a internal fan. Would that help much?

    Just bourght a brand new motherboard and pentium 2.4 cpu with a boxed fan. The temperature shown in the bios under pc health is running around 175 degrees F. The fan is showing 2400 rpms.
